For this Special Webinar, ASISTA welcomes a national expert from Immigration Equality, Attorney Connor Leighton-Cory, to discuss best practices in representing LGBTQ and HIV-positive survivors in today’s environment. Among other things, understand why it is critical to advance protections for survivors with these identities, and what some special techniques for doing so are. Get updates on the executive orders and related policies targeting trans people, and the changes and impacts that flow from these for survivors seeking Asylum, U-visas, T-visas, or VAWA protections.
