Join ASISTA for an informed and practical review of the most important provisions in the new T visa regulations. With an effective date of August 28, 2024, there are several fresh changes that both expand and narrow the pool of trafficking survivors who may be eligible for T principal or derivative status.  Presenters will review key language from the regulations themselves, as well as the Federal Register preamble and any available USCIS Policy Manual or Memoranda explanations. They will also draw scenarios from real cases to help the audience practice analyzing facts under the new framework. This is a “can’t miss” webinar for everyone who represents immigrant survivors of sex or labor trafficking!

Speakers:

  • Rebecca Eissenova, Senior Staff AttorneyASISTA
  • Lia Ocasio, Staff Attorney, ASISTA
