Please join ASISTA Executive Director Gail Pendleton and Senior Legal Counsel Amy Cheung for an interactive discussion strategies for presenting survivor-based applications for relief in removal proceedings. For this webinar, we will focus primarily on (a) identifying forms of relief that fall under EOIR jurisdiction; (b) strategies for requesting and presenting claims for relief from removal; and (c) post-grant procedural issues. This will be Part 1 of a two-part series on representing survivors in removal proceedings and will include some content presented at our in-person pre-FBA training.
Please note that this webinar is at an intermediate level; it assumes knowledge and experience doing applications for U, T and VAWA.
