.png) Join Us for a Virtual CLE Conference Intermediate Intensive VAWA Training Wed, March 23 – Thur, March 24, 2022: 12-5 pm est REGISTER NOW Description: During this two-day training, participants will learn best practices for navigating complex VAWA cases. Through interactive discussions, we will explore how to address challenging issues, such as evidentiary problems, inadmissibility waivers, and removal proceedings. We will devote one session to discussing case questions from participants. This intermediate-level course is intended for attorneys and legal staff who already have a basic level of understanding about VAWA-related cases. Speakers include ASISTA’s national experts. Day 1, Wednesday, March 23rd (12-5pm est) Session 1: An I-360° View of Common Obstacles in VAWA Self-Petitions(12-2 pm est) Session 2: From VAWA to AOS: Inadmissibility Waivers & Exceptions(3-5 pm est) Day 2, Thursday, March 24th (12-5pm est) Session 3: VAWA in the Court: Self-Petitioners in Removal Proceedings (12-2 pm est) Session 4: Stop, Collaborate, & Listen: VAWA Case Edition(3-5 pm est) Prices for training (4 x 2 hr sessions) $300 Non-Profit Legal Staff (includes ASISTA members who are non-profits) $400 ASISTA Member $550 Private Attorney (Processing fees apply for online payments) CLE: 8.0 hrs of Texas MCLE credits will be applied for this training.
