Legal Remedies for Immigrant Survivors: Introductory Seminar Series

In this 4-part skills-based seminar series, participants will learn to identify survivor-based immigration remedies, conduct a thorough legal intake, assess a client’s facts to determine eligibility and identify red flags and analyze evidence to determine how to prove eligibility for relief. Participants will have the opportunity to practice these skills through hands-on activities. Some homework will be required. 
This course is intended for legal advocates at agencies that serve domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, new immigration practitioners and legal staff. 
Speakers include ASISTA’s national experts.

Note CLE: 2.00 hrs of Texas MCLE credits will be applied for each session. Certificates will be available for attorneys to request CLE credits in other states and DOJ accredited representatives.
